Virtual Grant Writing Workshops for Middlesex County’s 2021 Arts & History Grant Cycle

Virtual Grant Writing Workshops for Middlesex County’s 2021 Arts & History Grant Cycle

Workshops begin Tuesday, July 14, 2020

WHAT:                 The 2021 Middlesex County grant cycle is beginning this summer, for Arts, History, and Historic Preservation and Capital Grants!

Due to the pandemic, Middlesex County’s Board of Chosen Freeholders and the Middlesex County Division of Arts and History have shifted the County’s 2021 grant cycle by one month. To accommodate our local artists and historians during this time, virtual grant writing workshops will be held from July into the first week of September, to help guide all interested parties through the application process. Full 2021 Grant Guidelines will be available in July.

WHY:                   All current, former, and new grantees are encouraged to attend a virtual grant writing workshop to find out about the recent updates and changes to Middlesex County’s grant program. Attendance at a grant writing workshop will only be mandatory for new applicants, or applicants that did not apply during the County’s last grant cycle (2020). If you cannot attend any of the sessions, please contact the Division of Arts and History via email to arrange meeting with one of our grants managers.

WHEN:                 The first workshop will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at 11 am. The schedule for the other workshops is as follows:

                              Thursday, July 23 at 2pm

Wednesday, July 29 at 6pm

Wednesday, August 12 at 11am

Tuesday, August 18 at 6pm

Thursday, August 27 at 2pm

Thursday, September 3 at 2pm

Declarations of Intent are due by Tuesday, September 8, 2020.

Grant applications are due by Tuesday, October 6, 2020.
