Vision Media Hires Veteran Democratic Operative David Keith to Add to Firm’s Campaign Consulting Practice

Coming Off Successful 2021 Campaign Cycle, Growing Firm Also Adds New Account Executive, Graphic Designer

SECAUCUS, N.J. — Vision Media Marketing Inc., one of New Jersey’s leading public relations and media consulting firms, has hired veteran Democratic campaign operative David Keith to bolster its campaign consulting practice and help expand its reach into new markets. Keith has worked on several major campaigns throughout the country, most recently managing Dr. Al Gross’ campaign for U.S. Senate in Alaska in 2020 as well as numerous other races nationwide.

“David Keith’s long history of helping Democratic candidates overcome long odds to win tough elections makes him a perfect fit with our firm and we are incredibly excited to have him join our team,” said Vision Media Chief Operating Officer Phil Swibinski. “With his extensive contacts throughout the country, his strong understanding of all aspects of winning campaigns and his willingness to take on tough challenges, David is already proving to be an excellent addition to Vision Media.”

While he has served a variety of roles in campaigns across all possible disciplines, Keith’s extensive experience in general consulting, campaign management, strategy, fundraising and digital media add a significant new dimension to Vision Media’s service offerings, which have traditionally included a full range of media consulting services including direct mail, television advertising, digital advertising, media relations and strategic consulting.

“It’s an honor to join a firm like Vision Media with a 30+ year track record of successfully helping clients deliver strong messages, move voters and win elections,” said Keith, whose title at the firm is Campaigns Director. “I’m excited to serve the firm’s existing clients and help it continue to grow by expanding our reach here in my home state of New Jersey and beyond.”

Some of Keith’s current and former clients are saying:

“David ran a campaign in Alaska that defied national prognosticators by nearly flipping the senate in a very red state with an exciting first time independent candidate. He made the campaign infectious, exciting and was brilliant.” — Dr. Al Gross, 2020 Candidate for U.S. Senate

“David Keith is a skilled manager and strategist. In my race he helped build a diverse, robust coalition to unseat an incumbent in what was one of the most expensive Assembly races in California. He knows how to win”. — Eloise Reyes, Majority Leader, California State Assembly

In addition to Keith, Vision Media also recently hired Account Executive Darsen Hover and Graphic Designer Anais Ornelas. Hover most recently provided communications consulting services to several campaigns for New York City Council in the 2021 Primary prior to joining Vision Media. Ornelas has previously worked as a designer for well-known Democratic media firms including The Pivot Group in Washington, DC.

Vision Media just wrapped up a successful 2021 election cycle which included work for Governor Phil Murphy’s winning re-election campaign as well as the New Jersey Democratic State Committee. Vision Media also represented Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop’s campaign and helped him become the first three-term mayor in the city since Frank Hague in the 1940s while also winning a City Council majority including Councilwoman-elect and Hudson County Democratic Organization Chair Amy DeGise. The firm’s winning clients this year also include Edison Mayor-elect Sam Joshi, Hackensack Mayor John Labrosse and Kearny Mayor Al Santos.
