Vitale, Coughlin & Lopez Statement on Passing of Former Woodbridge Mayor Philip Cerria
(WOODBRIDGE) – Senator Joe Vitale, Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin and Assemblywoman Yvonne Lopez (all D-Middlesex) released the following joint statement on the passing of former Woodbridge Mayor Philip Cerria, who succumbed to injuries he sustained after a car accident earlier this month in which his wife, Margaret lost her life:
“Mayor Cerria wore many hats in his life; husband, father, clerk, councilman, mayor. In every role he played, he was dedicated to making his community a better place to live for his family and neighbors. He and his wife will be remembered not for how they passed, but how they lived. Our hearts go out to their family at this difficult time.”
