Walk-up COVID-19 testing location change in New Brunswick

Walk-up COVID-19 testing location change in New Brunswick

WHAT:            Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Middlesex County has been committed to providing residents with access to free COVID-19 testing, both in a drive-thru and walk-up format. The County will continue that commitment with the relocation of the walk-up testing in the City of New Brunswick. Beginning on August 20, COVID-19 testing will be conducted at the Youth Sports Complex, 419 Joyce Kilmer Avenue, New Brunswick. The County has closed the walk-up facility at the Redshaw Elementary School in order to allow the school district to prepare for the school year.

Both this site and the drive-thru site in Piscataway will perform testing on symptomatic and asymptomatic residents with the innovative saliva-based tests, developed by RUCDR Infinite Biologics and Accurate Diagnostic Labs.

WHEN:            Registration and testing dates can be found at: http://www.middlesexcountynj.gov/Government/Departments/PSH/Pages/COVID-19–Testing.aspx
