Today, the Webber for Congress campaign announced its first group of Municipal Leaders. These grassroots supporters of Jay’s vision for lower taxes, safer communities, and a stronger America are the boots-on-the-ground engine of the Webber campaign.
Assemblyman Webber said “I’m thrilled to announce that, in addition to the over 130 elected officials and party leaders that have endorsed our campaign for Congress, these nearly 200 local leaders have signed up to be a part of this campaign. In the next 35 days we will take our message of reducing taxes, protecting our rights, and keeping our communities safe to all 54 municipalities in the 11th Congressional District, and these community leaders will help us get the word out. I’m humbled by the outpouring of support I’ve seen from across the district, and as we knock doors, dial up phones, and spread our message at community events over the coming months, we look forward to welcoming even more supporters to our municipal leadership team and earning the support of New Jerseyans first in June, and then in November.”
Jay Webber’s campaign for Congress is growing by the day. The campaign recently announced it raised over $230,000 in a compressed first quarter, and received the endorsement of United States Senator Tom Cotton and the New Jersey Right To Life PAC. The campaign also has earned the endorsement of more than 130 local elected officials and Republican Party leaders. Jay looks forward to representing the Republican Party in November’s election and making sure the 11th Congressional District is represented by a common sense conservative focused on lowering taxes, protecting our citizens, and preserving our liberties.
