NEW YORK – Assemblyman Jay Webber was invited to the United Nations headquarters on Tuesday to discuss his legislation aiming to safeguard children and reduce the demand for pornography by requiring age verification for adult content on the internet.

The UN’s World Day Against Trafficking in Persons event was focused on the adult film industry and how it promotes the sexual exploitation of women and girls and contributes to human trafficking and violence.
