Whippany, NJ – The Webber for Congress campaign was eager to participate in tonight’s NJTV Debate and to speak directly to voters in New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District.

Campaign spokesperson Ronica Cleary made the following statement: “Tonight’s debate demonstrated the fundamental differences between Jay Webber and Montclair Mikie Sherrill. Jay is focused on uniting us across party lines while Montclair Mikie Sherrill is focused on dividing us. Montclair Mikie Sherrill confirmed tonight that she plans to vote for corrupt Bob Menendez. She claims to want new leadership in Washington, but if she’s not even willing to stand up to corrupt Bob Menendez. She struggled to get her facts straight for the second night in a row, forcing moderator Michael Aron to correct her false narrative on tax reform. In addition, she announced she’s open to dumping another tax on North Jersey via the Nancy Pelosi cap and trade scheme. Montclair Mikie is a Pelosi Democrat and wrong for North Jersey.”
