West Milford, NJ ~ Republican Mayoral Candidate Luciano “Lou” Signorino and Council Candidate Pete McGuinness, both current Councilmen, are proud to announce their running mate for Township Council, Steve Castronova. Mr. Castronova is a 55+ year resident of West Milford and has deep roots in the community.

Mr. Castronova and his family have an extensive career in numerous local businesses, having operated a gas station, car dealership and service center, restaurants, and numerous commercial complexes – all in West Milford.

“I am excited to add Steve to our ticket, joining Pete and me in our quest to restore fiscally responsible leadership to the Governing Body,” said Signorino, a three-time Council President. “Steve is a true conservative who, unlike others, will actually use business principles in making sound decisions to move our Township forward.”

“Steve Castronova is a dedicated public servant in West Milford and has been for quite some time,” said Council President Pete McGuinness. “Steve serves on both the Planning and Zoning Boards and Insurance Advisory Committee. He formerly served on the board of the local Municipal Utilities Authority and Economic Development Committee. Steve is a civic minded, community first type of person who shares my pride in West Milford.”

The three local leaders will be kicking off their campaign with an event honoring Signorino for Mayor and McGuinness & Castronova for Council on March 30, 2019, at 6:30 PM at Lake Hird Lodge at Ocawasin, 625 Macopin Road, West Milford, NJ 07480.
