Wimberly Statement on FY2020 Budget

(TRENTON) – Assemblyman Benjie Wimberly (D-Bergen, Passaic), who sits on the Assembly Budget Committee, released the following statement on the signing of the FY2020 fiscal spending plan:

“The FY2020 budget includes $175 million in tax relief, funding for Charity Care, Work First New Jersey, a record expenditure to community food banks and money that will enable SNAP to help more residents with utility bills prioritizing working class families. It supports seniors, veterans, and New Jerseyans working hard each day to get by.

“I look forward to working with Speaker Coughlin and my Assembly colleagues over the next year to continue to build on the progress we’ve made.”
