(TRENTON) – Continuing the listening tour on housing issues in New Jersey, Assemblyman Benjie Wimberly, chair of the Assembly Affordable Housing Committee, announced the next hearing will be held at Stockton University on February 19, 2020.

The Chairman would like this meeting to focus on local stories of residents with housing concerns. State and local organizations are also scheduled to testify.

“From day one, our top priority has been to listen to residents and all stakeholders to learn more specifics about the state of affordable housing in New Jersey today,” Wimberly (D-Bergen, Passaic). “Through their stories, the hearings over the last year have informed us, making problems with housing in New Jersey both tangible and real for us as legislators.

“I look forward to 2020 and to continuing these conversations in our travels across the state learning more about the broad and diverse issue of housing.”

The panel will receive testimony from the public and invited guests concerning affordable housing and landlord and tenant issues on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 10:00 AM.

The hearing will be held in the Fannie Lou Hamer Event Room, Stockton University Atlantic City Campus located at 10 South Albany Avenue, Atlantic City, 08401.
