Windmills and Whales Zoom

You are invited to attend a Zoom presentation on WINDMILLS at 7 p.m. on March 20.
Please fill out the registration form below.

With the recent rush to judgment by some elected officials, it is essential to hear the facts on wind power’s impact on:
1 – Whales and migratory birds
2 – Our environment and communities
3 – Employment in our region

Our presenter is Sunni Vargas, the offshore wind campaign’s organizer for the non-partisan New Jersey League of Conservation Voters. She is engaged in education advocacy and events for the league which works to safeguard the health of our communities. Ms. Vargas was born in Rahway and is a graduate of Monmouth University. She is an alumnus of the Washington Center. Ms. Vargas works to help people understand offshore wind power, green energy, and environmental policy as well as involve more of us in the fight against climate change.
