Winning Strategies Washington is pleased to announce that Nancy Fox, the outgoing staff director of the House Appropriations Committee, a Capitol Hill veteran, and recognized leader in federal funding issues, has joined the firm as a Principal.

Former House Appropriations Committee Chairman Rodney Frelinghuysen said, “Nancy was an extraordinary steady hand during unprecedented times on the committee. Nancy, a native of Nahant, Massachusetts, just finished her tenure as the Majority Staff Director of the powerful House Appropriations Committee – the first Republican woman to hold that position in the committee’s lengthy history. In that capacity, Nancy directed all aspects of the Committee’s operations, including serving as lead negotiator on all appropriations-related legislation; principal liaison to House and Senate leadership; and primary contact for all Members of Congress to the Appropriations Committee.
