ENDORSES KAMALA HARRIS FOR PRESIDENT

Millville, N.J., Chicago, IL, Richmond, VA, July 22, 2024 – Today, the Women of Color Coalition proudly announces its endorsement of Kamala Harris for President of the United States. This historic endorsement reflects the Coalition’s unwavering commitment to advancing equity, justice, and representation at the highest levels of government. Thank you, President Biden, for being the leader we needed to navigate us out of a once in a century global pandemic and put us on the right track. We love and respect you!

Kamala Harris has long been a champion for women of color and marginalized communities across America. As the first woman of Asian and Black descent to hold the office of Vice President, Harris has shattered numerous barriers and continues to inspire millions with her dedication to inclusivity and progressive policies. “Our endorsement of Kamala Harris is rooted in her demonstrated leadership and commitment to addressing the diverse needs of women of color,” said Rachel Green-Founder/CEO of Women of Color Coalition. “Throughout her career, Vice President Harris has consistently advocated for policies that uplift our communities, from healthcare and economic justice to criminal justice reform and educational equality.”

Women of Color Coalition comprises a diverse group of leaders, activists, and advocates from various backgrounds and professions, united in their mission to amplify the voices and experiences of women of color in political decision-making processes. “I am honored to be a part of history in supporting the election of the first woman, first Black woman, first Asian American woman, and one of the most qualified persons in America to be the 47th President. Her election win is crucial for women’s rights, human rights, and the rights of every person on earth,” added Anne Shaw Esq., President – WOCC.
