Woodland Park Council President Tracy Kallert Running For Mayor in November

(Woodland Park): Council President Tracy Kallert takes on the role of Mayor on July 9, 2023 at noon after Mayor Keith Kazmark steps down for an incredible opportunity of to be the Village Manager in the Village of Ridgewood, furthering his career in local government and continuing to expand his passion in the realm of public service. Kallert will be running for a full three year term this coming November with Mayor Kazmark’s full and unwavering support.

“Humbled is the first word that comes to mind as I prepare to assume the role of Mayor of Woodland Park. Never did I envision a situation where I would have the opportunity to serve my hometown in such a fulfilling and meaningful way.

Over the last 11 years I’ve had the privilege of representing our residents on the Borough Council. During this same time, I had the honor of calling Mayor Keith Kazmark my colleague, my mentor and, most importantly, my friend. Keith is not only a friend to me, he is a friend to everyone who calls Woodland Park home. Working with him and witnessing his ability to lead by example is something I admire. To that end, I cannot fully express what it means to me that Keith has entrusted me to continue the path of progress that he so clearly set out.

Make no mistake, as Mayor Kazmark steps down from his elected position to further pursue his career of public service, he is leaving his mark of progress and excellence. His legacy will always be remembered, and the bar is set high.

It is my intention to continue with Mayor Kazmark’s vision for the future of Woodland Park. Having collaborated and worked alongside him for over a decade, I have an in-depth understanding of many projects that are on the horizon. I’m excited to work with the Council and Borough Departments to see these initiatives through to completion. I will work my hardest to earn your trust as your new Mayor.

The truth is this isn’t about Keith Kazmark or Tracy Kallert. It’s not about any one person. This is about Woodland Park. It’s always about Woodland Park. These are exciting times, and there’s a lot to do. Let’s get to work. And let’s get things done, by working together!” – Council President Tracy Kallert
