Assemblymembers Freiman and Drulis Receive Four County Endorsements, File for Re-Election in the 16th Legislative District
Trenton, NJ – Assemblymembers Roy Freiman (D-Hillsborough) and Mitchelle Drulis (D-Raritan Twp) announced endorsements from all four of their district’s county Democratic organizations as they completed filing for the June 10th Primary election today with over 400 signatures.
“We are looking forward to the opportunity to continue representing our community in the New Jersey General Assembly and helping working families,” said Freiman and Drulis. “The country will be watching New Jersey’s elections in 2025, and we are confident the voters of the 16th District will send us back to Trenton to continue our work that focuses on making NJ more affordable and protecting NJ families.”
The Somerset County Democratic Committee endorsed the Assemblymembers on March 20, marking their fourth and final successful county convention. This follows endorsements from the Hunterdon County Democratic Committee, Mercer County Democratic Committee, and Middlesex County Democratic Organization. “We are grateful for the unanimous support from each county in LD16,” said Freiman and Drulis. “Our base is just as energized as we are and ready to hold New Jersey’s Blue Wall right here in our community.”
Freiman and Drulis are seeking to continue their work as the representatives of the 16th Legislative District, which includes Princeton (Mercer County), South Brunswick (Middlesex County), Rocky Hill, Montgomery, Millstone, Hillsborough, Branchburg (Somerset County), Raritan Township, Readington Township, Flemington, High Bridge, Lebanon Borough, Clinton Town, and Clinton Township (Hunterdon County).
