The Bergen County Jewish Action Committee (BCJAC) today endorsed Congressman Josh Gottheimer in the Democratic Primary as a candidate for governor of New Jersey. Their endorsement comes as Gottheimer continues to consolidate support in the Jewish community across Jersey.

“Josh has been a clear and consistent voice against antisemitism, and he has been a champion when it comes to protecting Jewish students in schools and on campus,” said BCJAC in a statement. “His unshakable support for Israel and his efforts on behalf of the hostages are a testament to his deep loyalty to the Jewish community in New Jersey and the values that bind us together.”

BCJAC is a grassroots organization devoted to fighting antisemitism and fostering understanding through the power of communal advocacy, civic engagement, and interconnectivity. BCJAC has been active since November 2023 and is actively engaged in local elections, outreach, and educational initiatives.
