In his new role, Mr. Clewell will continue to lead the firm's Corporate Political Activity and Election Law Group. With a robust background in election law and political compliance, he focuses his practice on state and local elections, advocacy efforts, voter protection, and assisting clients in achieving their political and policy goals nationwide. His experience in high-profile election litigation has earned him a strong reputation among elected officials across the state.

Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Clewell serves as a Judge Advocate in the United States Army Reserve, providing defense counsel services in the Northeast United States. He also contributes to his community as a prosecutor for the City of Plainfield.

Mr. Clewell's dedication extends to thought leadership in his field. He has authored articles on election law topics, including "Behind the Ballot: Getting on – and off – the Ballot for President in NJ," published by Insider NJ.

He has also participated in panels discussing the impact of social media on elections for the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Mr. Clewell holds a law degree from Seton Hall School of Law and a bachelor's degree from New York University. His passion for helping and serving others led him to become a lawyer, and he eagerly seizes opportunities to use his position and skills for the betterment of others.
