JOSH GOTTHEIMER ENDORSED BY COMMUNITY FEDERATION OF NEW JERSEY

Jersey Shore Orthodox Group Backs Gottheimer

Builds on Gottheimer’s Strong Jewish Support

HACKENSACK, NJ — Today, Congressman Josh Gottheimer announced that the Community Federation of New Jersey (CFONJ), a nonprofit group that advocates for the Sephardic-Jewish community on the Shore, endorsed his campaign for Governor.

“We are honored to endorse Congressman Josh Gottheimer in the Democratic gubernatorial primary,” said Ralph D. Hanan, President of the Community Federation of New Jersey. “Josh has been a steadfast leader in the fight against antisemitism, never hesitating to speak out and take action whenever hate rears its head. His strong support for Israel and the hostages reflects his deep commitment to our community and the shared values we hold dear.

“In Washington, Josh has been a powerful voice for our priorities, and he’s ready to bring that same leadership to Trenton. He stands out in offering a clear, comprehensive plan to lower taxes and make New Jersey more affordable for all.

“Josh Gottheimer is a results-driven leader with a record of delivering — and that’s exactly what New Jersey needs. We’re proud to stand with him.”

The Community Federation of New Jersey advocates for Jewish communities in several towns in Monmouth County, including Allenhurst, Eatontown, Deal, Long Branch, Ocean Township, Village of Loch Arbour, and West Long Branch.

“I’m humbled by the Community Federation of New Jersey’s support and the trust they’ve placed in me,” said Gottheimer. “As Governor, I’ll stand up to extremists who spread hatred and people who try to hurt Jersey families. I’m going to work hard to make our communities safer, more affordable, and more tolerant. It’s great to have CFONJ by my side.”

More than 140 state and local officials, Members of Congress, unions, and community leaders have endorsed Gottheimer’s campaign for Governor. Learn more about Josh’s campaign at Josh4Jersey.com.
