Mikie Sherrill Slams Trump’s Tax Increase, Self-Inflicted Economic Catastrophe

“Donald Trump just implemented the biggest tax increase in my lifetime — an economic catastrophe for New Jersey families. This will raise costs to the tune of almost $4,000 per year, and many companies have already announced layoffs. No wonder the Wall Street Journal called it the ‘dumbest trade war in history.’ Trump is single-handedly turning the economy upside down — decimating retirement savings at the same time as he and Elon Musk are trying to take an axe to Social Security and Medicare. The U.S. economy isn’t one of his bankrupt casinos — he is ruining lives and livelihoods, and I’m going to fight like hell to protect New Jersey from this chaos.”
