Adds to Gottheimer’s Support From 100+ Bergen County Leaders
HACKENSACK, NJ — Today, Chairman James Edmonds, III endorsed Congressman Josh Gottheimer for Governor of New Jersey. The new Democratic Municipal Chair of Teaneck commended Gottheimer’s long record of problem solving in Congress and highlighted how Josh will make Jersey more affordable. This announcement follows the endorsements of Mayor Mark Schwartz, Deputy Mayor Karen Orgen, and former Mayor and now Councilman Elie Katz, adding to Josh’s growing support from Teaneck leaders.
“Josh is the only candidate in the race with a clear vision and detailed plans to make New Jersey more affordable,” said Chairman Edmonds. “He’s traveled the state meeting with folks in diners to hear the challenges they’re facing—first and foremost the cost of living. Josh will lower taxes and costs for every Jersey family, and he’ll do it while standing up to Trump and protecting the values we hold close to our hearts. I’m proud to support Congressman Gottheimer for Governor.”
“I’m grateful for the support of Chairman Edmonds and I congratulate him on his new role as Municipal Chair for Teaneck,” said Congressman Gottheimer. “Together, I know we’ll be able to make Jersey more affordable for everyone—and I won’t stop fighting until we get it done. As the ‘Lower Taxes, Lower Costs’ Governor, I’ll be laser-focused on making Jersey the best place to live, work, and raise a family.”
