Organized, hosted, and led entirely by women, the “Women for Ras Baraka” event was not only a financial success, it was a living embodiment of the kind of broad, grassroots coalition that defines Mayor Baraka’s campaign.

Hosted by a dynamic slate of powerhouse leaders - Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman, Congresswoman LaMonica McIver, Rev. Dr. Regena Thomas, Lizette Delgado Polanco, Assemblywoman Cleopatra Tucker, Councilwoman Louise Rountree, First Lady Linda Baraka, Dr. Karma Warren, Staci Berger, Aisha Glover, Pamela Miller, Michellene Davis, Phyllis Salowe-Kaye, Davida N.
