TRENTON – The elevator around the corner from his office dinged and Speaker Vincent Prieto (D-32) hopped of on his way into a closed door meeting with Bob Marino of Horizon.

“I’m willing to compromise but it has to be properly vetted,” Prieto said. “I don’t have a bill to put up yet. I’m willing to look at the components of [a] bill. I said this all along. Hopefully we can there so we have a road map to get there.”

He turned the corner, repeated what he had just said for the sake of Hispanic media, then disappeared into his office.
