PATERSON – Ward 6 Councilman Andre Sayegh has the backing of key leaders in the Passaic County Democratic Party establishment, which is possibly why Ward 3 Councilman Bill McKoy undertook an attack on that entity at tonight’s debate forum hosted by the Eastside Neighborhood Association.

During his closing argument at tonight’s debate, McKoy seemed to swat at another old rival, At-Large Councilman Alex Mendez, when he said that as an auditor and longstanding councilman he has done his homework and would not, as mayor, have to rely on someone else doing it for him.
