WEST NEW YORK – The former chair of the Marco Rubio for President Campaign in New Jersey and now 2017 Republican candidate for lieutenant governor, Woodcliff Mayor Carlos Rendo said he is open to working with the Guadagno-Rendo Campaign to tap national fundraising sources in Rubio World.

“That’s something that the campaign and I need to discuss, but I think we will be reaching out to Marco,” Rendo told reporters, referring to U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL).

Republican Gubernatorial candidate Kim Guadagno’s choice for lieutenant governor, Rendo also spoke to why he backed Rubio over Gov. Chris Christie for president last year.

“His story is my story,” Rendo said.
