Report: Former Carteret Mayoral Candidate Charged With Voting Twice, Using Different Names

According to a report from MyCentralJersey, former Carteret mayoral candidate Frederick Gattuso was charged with voter fraud, having allegedly voted twice using two different names.

From the report: ‘Frederick Gattuso, 43, was arrested without incident and charged with one count of third-degree fraudulent voting, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone announced Thursday. Gattuso was charged after an investigation by the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office determined Gattuso allegedly voted twice in the 2020 election as different people with similar names.’

Gattuso unsuccessfully ran against incumbent Democratic Mayor Reiman in 2018.
