The Asbury Park Press reports that jurors are deadlocked and unable to reach a verdict on at least one count of the charges against Ocean County GOP Chairman George Gilmore, who’s on trial for federal tax evasion.

Jurors deliberated for over 7 hours, according to the report, handing a note to the judge that there’s ‘no movement of making final decisions’.  The judge sent the jury home, instructing them to return Wednesday morning to continue deliberations.
