It is probably difficult in Hamilton to find a politician more respected, more beloved, more warmly regarded for his gravitas and grace than Pete Inverso, which, if one pursues the illogic of New Jersey parochialism to its conclusion, deepens the outward irrelevance of the Republican former senator’s endorsement of Assemblyman Reed Gusciora (D-15) for mayor of Trenton.
