This from The Trentonian:  Joanne Palmucci, the chairwoman of the Mercer County Board of Elections, was found dead in her home, according to Mercer County prosecutor Angelo Onofri.

“She died unexpectedly. It appears at this point to be of natural causes, pending an examination by the medical examiner, Onofri said.

“As of 8:30 Monday morning, police and county investigators’ vehicles were outside of Palmucci’s house in Hamilton, but there was no yellow crime scene tape encircling the property.

“Sources said Palmucci had an argument with her daughter before the daughter left the home. Her daughter came back to the home and found her dead and called the cops.”
