Another person from the Administration of former President Barack Obama will take over as the next New Jersey Commissioner of Health, if Governor-elect Phil Murphy gets his way, according to a report on NJ.com.

Shereef Elnahal joined the Obama Administration in 2015 and since November 2016, served as assistant deputy under secretary for Health, Quality, Safety and Value in the Veterans Health Administration.
