Running for reelection in CD-7, U.S. Rep. Tom Malinowski (D-Rocky Hill) in his second tilt with Republican challenger Tom Kean, Jr. faces the toughest post-redistricting turf this season among incumbent Democrats.

Seeing opportunity, Republicans want his seat.

The new ads, which cover a variety of issues, “expose Democrats’ alarming records on out-of-control spending, tax hikes and rising crime, while showing how they’ve fallen out of touch with families back home,” according to a Congressional Leadership Fund release. 
 
“Americans are seeing first-hand the consequences of Democrat rule: soaring crime, skyrocketing inflation and bailouts for elites on the backs of working families,” said CLF Communications Director Calvin Moore. “Americans cannot afford more of Democrats’ failed policies.”

Congressional Leadership Fund is the House Republican super PAC and is endorsed by Leader Kevin McCarthy, Whip Steve Scalise, and all of House GOP Leadership. CLF became the largest House super PAC ever in 2020, raising and spending more than $165 million across 54 targeted Congressional races.
