The first event benefiting the Rick Rosenberg Scholarship Fund will occur at Ria Mar Restaurant in South River on April 26, according to a Facebook post by the friend and business partner of the late Republican operative.

“We’re going for a great turnout to celebrate Ricks’ life, share fond memories, and raise money to benefit future aspiring political leaders in New Jersey,” Chris Russell wrote.

A star among young Republican operatives, Mr. Rosenberg died last year.
