Rogers to Ciattarelli and Guadagno: ‘Cease Fire’

Republican Gubernatorial candidate Steve Rogers today asked his campaign manager, Tafari Anderson, to reach out to LT Governor Kim Guadagno and Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli’s campaign managers for the purpose of having a pow wow for the purpose of ending a “family feud.”

“As a military commander and police officer, one of our most important leadership responsibilities was to help de-escalate disagreements between two parties. In this case, we have two good Republicans in a dispute that is serving no purpose but to further erode voter confidence in our [GOP] ability to solve problems. I know in elections emotions run high, and decisions that people make at times are not the very best. But we cannot allow this matter to further polarize the votrs of this state and give the Democrats more firepower in November.

“I am asking them to ‘cease fire,’ and let’s all meet and have a chat,” the candidate added.
