Roselle Mayor Christine Dansereau today formally endorsed Acting Chair Colleen Mahr to lead the Union County Democratic Committee.

“There aren’t enough words to describe the integrity, honesty, intelligence and commitment that Mayor Colleen Mahr has demonstrated in her decades of service to the people of Union County,” Dansereau said. “I’ve known and worked with Colleen for years, and who she represents herself to be is 100% who she actually is. Colleen is authentic, stands for equality, justice and democracy. These are the qualities of a leader, and the type of leadership we can expect from her as our next UCDC Chair.”

Dansereau’s one-time ally turned political foe, Assemblyman Jamel Holley (D-20), sides with Mahr’s rival, state Senator Nick Scutari (D-22).
