In her speech backing U.S. Senator Cory Booker for president, veteran state Senator M. Teresa Ruiz (D-29) of Newark promoted love over hate, justice over injustice.

"We have found an individual who will seek justice, love for all, love for everyone,' Ruiz said in Military Park.
