A Democratic source thus lined up the potential Democratic challengers to incumbent Assemblyman Jon Bramnick (R-21) and Assemblywoman Nancy Munoz (R-21):

“If [Lacey] Rzeszowski is interested, I’d call her the frontrunner,” said the source.

Rzeszowski came with 1,500 votes of clipping the incumbents in 2017.

Others in the mix:

Union County Freeholder Bruce Bergen;

Summit attorney Goutam Jois;

Westfield attorney Lisa Mandelblatt;

and attorney Jill Lazare.

The source said landing the candidates will prove a thorny political proposition for the Democratic Party.

“I’ve heard EVERYONE wants to run,” said the source, including “any elected official in LD21.”
