Sacco Throws in with Currie over Jones

As lawmakers consider the NJ 2020 budget, Democratic caucus members mostly seemed resigned to voting for a budget that will not contain Governor Phil Murphy’s desired millionaire’s tax. Senator Nick Sacco says the current in-fighting among Democrats is not healthy.

State Senator Nick Sacco (D-32) came out of the gate today in support of [bubbleAutoLink text="another term" id="44168"] for Democratic State Party Chairman John Currie.

"Definitely," said the North Bergen senator (and mayor, up for reelection locally next year).

"He's done a great job as a chairman and I find him to be an honorable and trustworthy person," Sacco added.
