Sacco Throws in with Currie over Jones

As lawmakers consider the NJ 2020 budget, Democratic caucus members mostly seemed resigned to voting for a budget that will not contain Governor Phil Murphy’s desired millionaire’s tax. Senator Nick Sacco says the current in-fighting among Democrats is not healthy.

State Senator Nick Sacco (D-32) came out of the gate today in support of another term for Democratic State Party Chairman John Currie.

“Definitely,” said the North Bergen senator (and mayor, up for reelection locally next year).

“He’s done a great job as a chairman and I find him to be an honorable and trustworthy person,” Sacco added.
