Salem County Reports 226 COVID-19 Cases, 10 Fatalities, Total as of Wednesday
The Salem County Department of Health and Human Services wants to inform residents of an additional eight confirmed positive cases which brings our county total to 226, as of Wednesday, April 29th.
The county would also like to inform residents of two additional COVID-19 associated deaths of previously confirmed positive cases. This brings our total deaths to 10.
The eight new positive cases are as follows:
A female in her 80s from Carneys Point
A female in her 90s from Carneys Point
A female in her 70s from Salem
A male in his 20s from Carneys Point
A male in his 50s from Pittsgrove
A male in his teens from Penns Grove
A female juvenile from Penns Grove
A female in her 60s from Pilesgrove
The statewide COVID-19 count increased by 2,481 cases and 329 fatalities for a total of 116,264 cases and 6,770 deaths as of Wednesday, April 29th.
