The Salem County Department of Health and Human Services wants to inform residents of an additional three confirmed COVID-19 cases in Salem County on Wednesday, April 1st.

This brings the total case count to 19.  On Tuesday, the county had reported 4 new cases for a total of 16.

The new three cases are as follows:

• A female in her 30s from Alloway
• A female in her 50s from Pennsville
• A female in her 30s from Salem

The Salem County Department of Health advises residents to continue to practice social distancing and remain vigilant in the efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We are working attentively to address concerns surrounding availability of testing and will continue to inform residents as new information arises.

The statewide COVID-19 count is 25,590 cases and 537 fatalities,as of Thusday April 2nd, an increase of 3,489 cases and 182 deaths since Wednesday.
