The Salem County Department of Health and Human Services wants to inform residents of an additional four confirmed COVID-19 cases in Salem County on Tuesday, March 31st. This brings our total county case count to 16.  Tuesday’s count is an increase from Monday’s 12 cases reported by the county.

The new four cases are as follows:

• A male in his 70s from Woodstown
• A female in her 50s from Penns Grove
• A male in his 70s from Penns Grove
• A female in her 30s from Alloway

The Salem County Department of Health advises residents to continue to practice social distancing and remain vigilant in the efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We are working attentively to address concerns surrounding availability of testing and will continue to inform residents as new information arises.

The statewide COVID-19 case count is 22,255 as of Wednesday afternoon, with 355 fatalities total.
