The findings of the Select Legislative Committee, which examined the front office hiring practices that led to the acquisition at the state Schools Development Authority (SDA) of Al Alvarez, are due for release soon, according to a statehouse source.
The source hesitated to describe the release date as “imminent,” but was comfortable with “soon.”
The legislative committee formed to try to figure out who in the administration hired Alvarez, accused of sexual assault by fellow Murphy partisan Katie Brennan.
The source said it is unlikely that the release of the report would cause the committee to disband.
What’s more likely is the committee would remain, the source said, amid buzz about the potential for a wider legislative probe of the SDA, against the backdrop of a governor’s task force shining a light on the state Economic Development Authority (EDA).
Findings:
1.No one hired Alvarez.
2. Being accused of rape does not disqualify you if you are a Democrat.
3.You can collect a paycheck in the Murphy Administration and get a big raise without proof of ever being hired.
4. Murphy telling you the he’s “on it” means he won’t do anything.
5. Gov. “Me Too” Tammy won’t even come to the aid a campaign staffer.
6. Bill Clinton did not have sex with “that woman, Ms. Lewinsky.”
