Self-Proclaimed ‘Progressive Democrat’ Rodger Steps Forward in LD21

Progressive Democrat Kyla Rodger wants the opportunity to face incumbent Republican Assembly people Jon Bramnick and Nancy Munoz in LD21.

A teacher’s assistant, Rodger is a lifelong resident of Westfield.

According to her campaign manager, Matthew Skeete, Rodger’s platform includes support for Governor Phil Murphy’s $15 minimum wage bill, campaign finance reform, STEM education and investment, and state-level student loan debt relief.

There are other Democrats already jockeying to run in LD21, including Westfield attorney Lisa Mandelblatt and Summit attorney Goutam Jois.
