TRENTON - As expected, the Senate Budget Committee passed S-4, state Senator Joe Vitale's (D-19) Horizon restructuring bill, which is expected now to expire on the floor of the full senate.

State Senator Steve Oroho (R-24) voted for the bill, which surprised the drift at Settimo's, which piled into the bar to report on what just went down.

The committee vote was 11-1-1.

State Senator Jeff Van Drew Abstained.

Senator Jen Beck voted no.

Editor's Note: Multiple sources later Monday evening said Senate President Steve Sweeney (D-3) appeared to indeed have the votes on the floor of the senate - and would pressure Prieto - by sitting on the budget if necessary  - to post S-4 in the Assembly.
