Senate Judiciary Committee Signs off 9-1 on O'Toole to Port Authority

By a vote of 9-1, the Senate Judiciary Committee this morning affirmed Gov. Chris Christie's latest choice to be a commissioner on the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Only state Senator Ray Lesniak (D-20) - a candidate for governor - opposed the appointment witht he argument that O'Toole didn't commit to pay raises for SEIU workers.

The O'Toole appointment now goes before the senate as a whole.
