Senator Cardinale Mocks Booker: ‘He Ain’t No Spartacus’

On the heels of a statement by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, U.S. Senator Cory Booker called for the impeachment of President Donald J. Trump.

TRENTON – The Senate passed – 22-17-1 – a bill that would allow U.S. Senator Cory Booker to run for reelection and also run for President in 2020.

“We’re going back,” griped Senator Robert Singer. “It was never ok in the past and it’s certainly never ok in ther future.”

Senator Gerald Cardinale (R-39) doubled down.

“Spartacus had the courage to make decisions. He ain’t no Spartacus,” he said.

Senator Ronald Rice (D-28) – an old Booker foe – joined the Republicans voting no.

Senator Shirley Turner (D-15) also voted no.

Senator Jeff Van Drew (D-1) abstained.

The Assembly also passed its version of the bill earlier this afternoon.

  1. Talk about hedging your bets! Apparently they already know Booker winning the White House is an unlikely long shot.
