Today, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee announced it is adding Rep. Mikie Sherrill’s (D-11) to its Frontline program. The DCCC’s Frontline Program is designed to provide Democratic Members of Congress in competitive races with campaign support, strategic analysis, and fundraising prioritization to help them win re-election so they can keep fighting on behalf of working families.

Sherrill is one of 44 Democratic members nationally in the Frontline program, creating a firewall to protect the new Democratic majority so it can continue delivering on its promises to the American people. While the DCCC is committed to protecting Frontline members, according to its release, it remains on the offensive in the 2020 election cycle, having already announced that it is targeting 33 GOP-held seats to help expand the Democratic majority.

“Mikie Sherrill has spent her entire life serving our country, and her sense of mission and dedication have already made her an exceptional Member of Congress,” said DCCC Chairwoman Cheri Bustos. “We need more leaders like Mikie in public service, and the DCCC is proud to back her campaign through our Frontline program.
