Sherrill Slaps Frelinghuysen in the Aftermath of Comey Memo

Former Navy helicopter pilot and federal prosecutor Mikie Sherrill released the following statement calling on U.S. Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-11) to support an independent bipartisan investigation into Russian influence in the 2016 election:

“As a former federal prosecutor, I know just how much our society relies on the ability of investigators to do their jobs impartially and without fear of intimidation,” Sherrill said. “Allegations that President Trump attempted to force Director Comey to end his investigation into General Flynn are gravely serious and indicate yet another attack on our democracy. That’s why today I am calling on Representative Frelinghuysen to demand an independent, bipartisan investigation into Russian influence in the 2016 election. His silence is unacceptable.”

Frelinghuysen’s office did not respond to queries for comment.

  1. Good luck with getting Rodney to acknowledge this request. This guy has never had an in-person town hall.

He needs to be voted OUT in 2018.
