Mikie Sherrill voted in line with her campaign pledge today and opposed Nancy Pelosi for House Speaker.
Sherrill cast her vote for Cheri Bustos of Illinois.

Jeff Van Drew, another new congressman from New Jersey, voted “no,” drawing murmurs from the audience. Most of the 21 Representatives who did not vote for either Pelosi or Republican Kevin McCarthy voted for someone else or just said “present.”
