Statement by Mikie Sherrill on Hunterdon Convention Victory

FLEMINGTON — Today, Mikie Sherrill released the following statement after winning the Hunterdon County Democratic Convention:

“I want to thank Chairman Malinowski and all of the committee members who made this convention a success. Hunterdon Democrats are dedicated folks who are on the ground in their communities — listening to their neighbors about the issues they care about and then working to build coalitions to deliver and win in some of the toughest areas of our state. Hunterdon County started something special today, and I’m so honored to have their support in bringing a different kind of leadership to Trenton.”

Fellas, fellas. Both parties are terrible. Check Open Secrets to see why both parties are on the leash of their corporate masters. Donations from lobbyists are almost evenly split between the Red and Blue team. We are offered the illusion of choice. It's time to start building people powered organizations and unions that will actually improve our conditions. From there we can form a people's party that isn't tied to these parasitic monopolies.
