Veteran North Plainfield Councilman Doug Singleterry and his fellow Democratic Party running mates won tonight, executing a clean sweep over their GOP rivals.

Bernice “Tina” Jalloh and Paul Drake also won.

Drake won the second freeholder seat, and Jalloh defeated incumbent Republican Frank Bruno to land the surrogate’s seat.
