Deputy Campaign Manager of the 2017 Phil Murphy Campaign, Jenny Davis is poised to serve in the role of director of government affairs for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, InsiderNJ has learned.

Davis was an early and avid member of the Murphy for Governor effort; one of the earliest, in fact.

Lame duck period reports from the inside of the Murphy Campaign apparatus was that she would likely surface on the inside of the administration, which didn’t happen, bewildering allies.

“Jenny is wicked smart,” one source said, referring to the veteran Democratic Party operative.
